Oli Jacobs was recommended to me as the first point of contact for technical support at Worth, when I was in the early stages of pre-production on the 2009 Worth Passion. From the outset he was very helpful and generous with his advice and expertise. In spite of many other pressures on his time, he took on the role of Sound/Technical Support and was always keen and creative in his approach to the increasing complexities of the production.

Oli resolved many of the difficulties involved in mounting an outdoor “promenade” performance. He set up four different “sound bases”, with large-scale PA systems and personal mics throughout. He [...] ran a fantastically smooth show on the day (even when the weather was looking menacing!). He was mature and professional at all times, a great problem-solver and a delight to work with. I could not have put on the Worth Passion in such an ambitious format, without Oli’s assistance. I would gladly recommend him and look forward to working with him again in the future.

We would like to thank Hardwired Entertainment for all their hard work at our school this summer.  The discos were fantastic: the lighting perfect for our venue, sound very professional and the music was all up-to-date tunes that our students loved! Oli and his team had just about every song that was requested and were more than happy to add these to their already brilliant track lists – great professional people to work with.

Hardwired Entertainment not only gave us many amazing discos to remember but provided some highly specialized lighting and sound for our shows, taking our performances from amateur to professional.  We were highly impressed by the team’s dedication to what they do, their knowledge and professionalism. We really hope to work with them again soon – thanks again to all at Hardwired Entertainment!

We used: Discos - Mackie SRM 450 x2, Computer Playback System running on Macbooks, 2x NJD Datamoons, 2x NJD Scanners, 2x LED Par Cans Talent Shows - 4x EV Sx300s, Allen and Heath ZED series mixer, 2x Martin Mac 500s (moving lights), 12 Par Cans, other various lighting all controlled from a Zero 88 Frog 2, 2x Le Maitre Hazers, Up to 6 wired microphones, 2 lapel radio microphones, 2 hand-held microphones

I used Hardwired Entertainment and Harvey's Lighting for my recent production of Guys and Dolls. They are an extremely efficient and hard working team. I was thrilled with the finished results. We Used: 6 FOH speakers (EV Sx300) + 2 subs, 9 radio mics, 2 monitors (Mackie SRM450). We also recorded it multi-tracked to Logic Pro on one of our macs.

JTJ Theatre Workshops at Hurst College

It was absolutely brilliant, with one weeks notice, managed to step in and take on PA work without much briefing and to be received by a large area of people. Spot on! We Used: 4 main speakers, 1 radio microphone and full music playback system.

Overall rating: Excellent. Value for money: Excellent Very impressed with professionalism. Great choice of disco music, good judge of audience, everyone danced all night.

Super Trooper's - Mamma Mia Tribute Band Hapstead Hall, Ardingly We Used: 2 FOH speakers, 5 monitors, 4 vocals (1 radio), guitar, bass, drum kit, keyboard, backing track. Approx 300 attendance.

Thank you, on behalf of Bolney Players for all your hard work in producing the sound for our panto a couple of weeks ago. You did a great job and the whole production had a good professional feel to it. Thanks to yours and Jordan's efforts. Hope you will be involved again.

As part of the Parish Council running a youth event in our village, we hired Hardwired Entertainment for our Battle of the Bands in Balcombe.  Not only were they able to provide the equipment and manage all the sound requirements for this event, but their experience and professionalism meant that they were able to guide us, making many recommendations in an area where we had little experience, in order to assure a successful event.
